All the presentations will be on Warpstock CZ CD... Thanks a lothttp://www.os2.cz/warpstock/sablona.rarWhat is it?Warpstock 2002 CZ was a long time plan only for Czech users of OS/2. The first idea was only a take place in a pub, where all users comes and chat to each other, exchange their experiences and build a strong community of OS/2 users in our country. Then, I had a idea for something more interesting and I decided to prepare something as a small Warpstock - some presentations, without support from companies, the action - "OS/2 users for OS/2 users". So now, we have some rooms on the university (Czech Technical University In Prague, Faculty of nuclear sciences and physical engineering) - detached in Dieín. We are working hard on this action, not only I and other people from OS/2.cz Team, but all users from Czech and Slovak Republic... ----------------------- Where and when?In the Czech republic, in the North Bohemia, near the border with Germany and Poland, in the nice countryside of national park Czech Switzerland (you can visit http://www.npcr.cz). Dieín is medium size town with population of about 60 000. When? From 12th to 14th July 2002 (friday - sunday). For who?Warpstock CZ 2002 is almost for czech users - we have only small resources, all is free for all visitors. BUT, if you are interested in this action, you can come! But all our presentatipons will be in czech language, without translating... If you would like to help us, you can. You can prepare your own presentation in your language for your people who will come to this event... If you are interested in this event,please contact me for more information, accomodation etc...on molcanf@os2.cz. But remember, that this is only small event for about 20-40 people! All nations are welcomed!!! But we cannot do a lot for you... some people speaks english, so you can find there some new friends, some new experiences etc... Program of this eventsome (non professional) presentations - eComStation, OS/2 Warp Server for e-business - Convenience packages 1 and 2, VirtualPC, Shared connection to the internet using inetGate/2, Mobile OS/2 - using notebooks with OS/2, mobile phone and data transfers (GPRS), Multimedial OS/2 - you can view OS/2 as a multimedial strong OS - music, support for great soundcards and digital systems, DVD, movies (DivX with subtitles support) etc. and maybe, some other presentations about other interesting programs on OS/2... good evening in a pub maybe a small trip to the Czech Switzerland nice people, long time OS/2 users and young OS/2 users! competition for nice prizes! (original OS/2 Warp, IBM Visual Age for Java, a book about OS/2...) CD-ROM made specially for this event - two CD's full of OS/2 shareware, freeware and other stuff usefull for every OS/2 user and next and next... ----------------------- |
